She becomes attracted to a handsome nobleman, Conte di Battiato, the wealthy heir to an Italian winery who is posing as a holidaymaker. In reality, he is a private detective and starts falling for Vonni. Forever concerned for his welfare, his mother becomes involved. She is quite aware that an American beauty like Vonnie might not be accepted by their aristocratic family. What are his mother’s intentions? And are the murders solved? Paging Miss Galloway by Susanne Marie Knight is an irrepressibly fun comedy of hidden agendas and mistaken identities all done in the tradition of the late, great Georgette Heyer... Ms. Knight does an exceptional job of keeping the tension uppermost in her readers‘ minds as she keeps Danny from revealing her true identity to Edward while we watch her feelings for him grow deeper. The multiple subplots embedded within the story are a great literary technique. Rather than detracting from the main theme of love recognizing its match in spite of life’s obstacles, the subplots only add to and bolster the story even more. 4 Shamrocks! ... this was rather cute with a couple of twists that made it quite interesting. This was a light read with what seemed two mismatched leads making for some very humorous moments. It was shored up with the addition of Tremaine’s best friend Xavier Raleigh whose sometimes ribald comments put the blush on Danny’s cheeks, a clue which Tremaine figure out just what seemed off about his page. Ms. Knight has written a wonderful story. One full of mystery, romance, and even comedy. I couldn’t put it down, and read TAINTED TEA FOR TWO in one setting. Her description of the scenery brought back many wonderful memories of my trip to England. She even captured the musty smell of big manors, and the small shops in the village. TAINTED TEA FOR TWO is a delightful “who done it”, that I truthfully enjoyed very, very much. I recommend that everyone read this wonderful book. 5 Stars! An Intriguing Mystery That Readers Will Love! This charming and interesting mystery is a pleasure to read. It kept me interested all the way through and was a pleasant way for me to pass a few hours during the Christmas holidays. The novel is the story of Marty Jackson, a fitness trainer from Virginia who takes on the job of rehabilitating Viscount Lord Embrey in England after a stroke. She is a compelling character, and I found myself wanting her to succeed. Besides the mystery plot, the story has a sexy and romantic thread that also holds the reader's interest. Bottom line: I can highly recommend this book to anyone who likes romances, mysteries, or just enjoys a good story!--Reader Comment

To begin with, this is the best book I've read in a long time. I won't give the ending away. Even if you ply me with peanut butter cookies, I won't tell, so don't ask! I loved the beginning. It was different and interesting. Bermuda Triangle? Hurray! I'm into sci-fi, so this book was particularly interesting to me. During WWII, while flying on a mission, Jack Harrington goes down into the triangle in his bomber. I like the way this book is written, especially her, `When death was as close a companion as his sweaty regulation undershirt?' Then it introduces Larissa Parish and her granddad, a man who was dying. Even with death so close, he was still able to joke. He promised to walk her down the aisle when she married. Was he able to hold on? Unfortunately not. Gramps wanted his ashes thrown in the ocean right where the Sweet Revenge disappeared. He passes away and she takes his ashes. She falls overboard into the Triangle... and promptly vanishes. Jack... who is still thirty-three, safe on an island, catches sight of Larissa in her life jacket and pulls her out of the ocean. Despite the indications, she refuses to believe he's from WWII. Yesterday man meets tomorrow woman. Bound to be some disagreements and there are. Are they rescued? Do they stay on that island for the rest of their lives? Do they fall in love and get married? There! That's all I'm going to say... Well, maybe I'll add, read it! You won't regret it.--eBooklove

The latest by Ms. Knight is one romance that proves that with love and trust, anything can happen. She has created a woman who is not worried about finding true love. What she didn't count on was that her life would change one man's life extremely. Now as leading men go, Jack is different from every man. Knight has somehow created a man who is not only old-fashioned but also still stuck in the 1940's persona. He believes that a woman should be at home waiting for their men. However, with larissa he thinks differently and can't figure out why she has such a strong hold on him. This reviewer has never read such a story that benefits every reader's reading style. Ms. Knight has created such loving characters in Larissa and Jack. The other characters in this story were also great, wondering if they will have their own story. Great read and creative background to the newfound love they feel for each other.--Fallen Angel Reviews

4 Hearts! Susanne Marie Knight pens another thriller in this series. The lives of the rich and famous overlap with those who work for a living. Character building and dialogue are great. The suspense as Minx confronts a killer is edge of your seat. For a woman whose intuition and people skills in a case are superb, Minx doesn't seem to do well communicating with Gabe. He's a macho man with a heart of gold but doesn't let Minx see much of his better side. Gabe's friend, Sgt. Antonio Atwell and his family are a priceless addition that really give the tale a boost. The author does a great job blending everyday people, some of whom are a bit creepy, with the suspects. Associates we meet at the fitness Emporium, especially the guys, will pique the memories of those forgettable dates we had before finding Mr. Right for many women. This is a fun series--The Romance Studio

The Ill-gotten Insurance, the second installment in the Minx Tobin Case books, will not only keep you turning the pages until you reach the end of the story, it will have you seeking out the first of Ms. Knight’s Minx Tobin Case books if you have not already read it. The author’s fluent writing style which brings her characters alive, warts and all. Her ability to capture the outrage of the rich implicated in the murder along side her depiction of the hero and heroine and their supporting cast creates plenty of friction as some of those characters are simply ‘way-out’ weird... Ms. Knight offers characters you will want to get to know even better, characters you are still rooting for at the conclusion of The Ill-gotten Insurance. The story is packed with a gallery full of suspects and enough twists and turns to satisfy any reader.--Long and Short Reviews.
